Hi,
I am trying to use fetchmail to forward a users e-mail from an SCO
Openserver 5 box running MMDF, to his external AOL account. Whew I can't
belive it either. Anyway, my problem arrises from the fact the 3rd-party
relay is shutdown so hard that when I try to send a message from an internet
account to his local Unix account, and fetchmail tries to then forward it on
to his AOL account, I get 550 bad auth messages. This also happens with
.forward files and aliases. Is there anyway for fetchmail to rewrite the
From: field so it can go out. I was working on a sed script to rewrite the
header and put the real address and subject in the Subject: field following
a "Forwaded Mail" type message. But it is turning out to be quite
difficult.
Thanks for any help,
Troy
