Hello,
Recently I'm getting an increased numer of mails with an Illegal address
syntax, which are rejected by postfix with error code 501. So far so good.
The problem is, that fetchmail does not delete those mails since those
have not been succesfully delivered and of course refetches them each time
it is invoked. Thus spamming the postmaster mailbox.
I do invoke fetchmail with:
su - fetchmail -c "/usr/bin/fetchmail -Z 501 -d 720 -f foorc", so,
according to the manpage, mails rejected by the mta with errorcode 501
should be deleted. But they are not. Running version 6.2.2
What am I doing wrong ?
