I'm losing the message separator when fetching mail using fetchmail
with imap. It makes my mail client think I have only 1 message :(

It may very likely be an IMAP problem, but I've tried two versions of
imapd on the server and the results are the same.. I googled one instance
of this problem, but didn't see the solution.
Do you run a local mail server that could handle the delivery? Either that
or try another MDA?
It's also worth throwing in "no rewrite" in the user options. If you're
still seeing the problem with that there then it isn't fetchmail - it's
probably your IMAP server. You may also want to check out section X4 of the
FAQ (http://www.catb.org/~esr/fetchmail/fetchmail-FAQ.html#X4).
Please DO NOT send me ANY email directly unless it's a privacy issue.
