Hi,
This is my first message on this list, and I know the problem was already
discussed, but with no solution. I hope this time someone will be able to
solve this.
I use Exim 3.35 on Debian Woody, in conjunction with Spamassassin and Amavis.
Fetchmail helps me to get my e-mail from several pop3 accounts, and all
incoming e-mails are scanned by the anti-virus. Fethcmail is launched
every 5 minutes by cron.
When a virus is detected in a e-mail, Amavis sends a message to the
original sender, like this one:
====================================================
A L E R T E V I R U SNotre anti-virus a détecté le virus :
Eicar-Test-Signature
dans votre message destiné à :
-> julien(_at_)mylocaldomain(_dot_)com
Le message n'a donc pas été délivré ! Veillez à installer un anti-virus
sur votre système, mettez à jour les bases de données de signatures de
virus, ou demandez à votre administrateur système de le faire pour vous.
====================================================
I also receive a warning message.
My problem is that is works perfectly wy my own local domain, but not for
e-mails that come fomr fetchmail. In the latter case, the address becomes
: julien(_at_)localhost (and not for example the original address
julien(_at_)skolelinux(_dot_)no)
The headers show the right address (Return-path :) but the envelope:
header is always julien(_at_)localhost
For the example, here are the full headers of the e-mail confirming my
subscription to this mailing list:
Envelope-to: julien(_at_)localhost

I have tried to use the envelope, as well as invisible and no rewrite
options, with no success.
I also have tried procmail, but this is not the right solution, as in this
case, incoming e-mail are not scanned.
Could someone try to help me ?
Many thanks in advance!
