Basically what's lacking as specified is the ability to have the current
version have a minor version change (the migration to v=1.0 is
necessarily a major version change).
In order to consider the minor version number an important feature,
there needs to be some semantic associated with a minor version change
that makes it different from a major version change. Can you suggest
something?
