This is very use to prevent misuse of parked domains.  These
sometimes become live, or in any case misuse of these by spammers
can negatively impact one's brand reputation.  If one has a domain
that is never used to send mail, a nullmx is a sensible thing to
publish.  One is of course free to not publish nullmx RRs, or not
even consider the question.
