Is there supposed to be an index.html file in the ~/html directory which

Currently, mharc does not auto-generate anything the root html archive
directory.
Right now, you can manually create your own index.html or just
use the directory index with a HEADER.html/README.html to add
markup to it (an Apache feature).
For mhonarc.org archives, I just manually created an index since
anything auto-generated would be quite primitive and not much better
than a directory index.
I welcome ideas about what could be done about a root index file.
