Hello,
I recently installed MHonArc v2.0.0.alpha 2 running under perl
version 5.002 on an Unix box. I am trying to process digests
of a mailing list I administer. The list software is a package
called BestServ, and was customed developed by my ISP. I've been
able to get most of it working, by setting the message separator
as follows:
% mhonarc -msgsep ^From: testdigest.txt
However, the index & message files that are built don't have
the From: field processed correctly. The message HTML files
simply don't have a From: field in the header, while the main
index file has a blank line following the From: field.
It seems (to my inexperienced eye) that the From: line is
not getting passed to the header processing routine along
with the rest of the header lines for each message. Is this
because it's marking it as the message separator, and skipping
it as a result? If so, is there any way to tell MHonArc to
include the message separator line as part of the mail header?
I'm relatively new to both perl and to MHonArc, so I appreciate
any level of detail that someone is patient enough to provide.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have to say that I am glad the Sox got rid of Hosey. He is a career AAA
player and they would have kept trying to bring him up to the bigs.

????'s about Stanley?
Just look in the latest issue of Baseball Digest. There is an article
about the decline in the quality of catchers. The article focused on
percentages of picking off base stealers. I thought it was rather funny
that certain individuals on this list would give their left nut for Mike
Piazza, but, he had the worst numbers for pick-offs. He was 26/181
attempts. Coincidentally, no other catcher had as many attempts against
him as did M. Piazza. The league average was 24.7% and Mike Stanley ended
at a figure slightly below that, but not nearly as low as M.P.'s. Do you
still think we need a new catcher? Any comments?
