Thanks to all for the help. I did upgrade to the lates version from hip and
also added the -force. This works fine. The drive it is writing the archive
to is on an NFS server. I am running NT 4.0 using Intergraph's PC-NFS to
mount the drive. I will keep a look out for the next release of perl to see
if that helps.
