[approved] Changing FQDN's to hostnames

when I create a mail archive, mhonarc inserts links which are FQDN's
(ie. http://host.domain.com/msg). I'd like these to be RDN's instead
(i.e. http://host/msg). Is there a way of doing so via a resource?
