But, since every project I've worked on winds up with weird
dependancies upon the specific version of autoconf/autoheader, I think
that we do a serious disservice if you can't build easily from CVS.
I know what you're saying .... but I have to make a judgement call here.
Personally I think this discourages a dependancy on a particular version
of autoconf.
I'm okay with that, as long as you agree to run multiple versions of
autoconf on things (you can decide if 2.13 compatibility is important,
but running the absolute latest is important to me), and document which
version you actually did use in a file somewhere.
Well, that's in the top of the generated configure file. I personally
believe that if it doesn't work with the latest autoconf, then that's
a bug.
