Newuser question...beware

Hello there!

I am new to the list, and I may be in the wrong place, so please bear with
me as I ask a newbie question that the FAQ wasn't able to clarify in my mind
fully...

I have been tasked with the job of creating a auto-responder, for our info@
account...  I have done some brief investigation and came across
procmail-3.10 -- (The Sendmail faq pointed me in the direction of procmail)

Does procmail have a capability to allow for the auto-responder type
mailbox, or did I totally miss the boat?

Sorry for the stupidity, but I'm kinda confused...
