It looks like the Eudora Japanese email readers for Macs sticks in an
X-Mailer header with an extra space before the colon.
That's a gross violation of applicable standards. Formail should not
have to cope with this, Eudora should.
Okay, sorry, foot in mouth acknowledged.
In the meantime, can you filter it before passing it to formail?

I have checked and Procmail doesn't appear to treat anything short of
a blank line as end of headers.
