happening! In Pine, what you want to do is Export (E) a message.
To export the full message, including all headers, do this:
1] View the message in Pine
2] Type H to view the message with full Headers
This command is not defined in PINE 4.58 which I am using.
3] Type E to export the message to your local file system.
Then you can run procmail on that single message and you don't
need to use 'formail -s' to split the saved folder (which is what
you needed to do before).
Thanks for this.I visited these immediately. They are too helpful for me.
I'm glad they are helpful to you -- please post and let us know
if you get your system working!
Finally I got it to work. I take this opportunity to thank all
people who helped me on this. As a beginner I learned many things
from your replies. Now I have to use these lessons to improve
BTW, I am going to install Dallman Ross' vsnag and his
vsnag.point-n-shoot.sh, so I think I'll back soon with a new
