David says to change the number to 1000 and Patrick says to change it to
3000. Which will give me 1000 backups? I wasn't sure if the 3 had to do
with number of letters/numbers in the filename...
1000 will give you 1000. It's the number of filenames; the backup
stores each message in a separate file. So keeping 1000 files would
keep 1000 messages.
I used 1000 because that's what you asked for. Patrick used 3000; I
don't know why, but maybe he thinks 1000 would still be too few.
