Could you please explain more about it? my XSLT processor is Xalan that used
by LiveLink System (Document Management System). I tried to use XSLT-Java
Extention and it doesn't work (maybe it don't have XSLT-java installed). If
there is a way that I can just use HTML or JavaScrpit to assign the value to
XSLT varaible, it'll be great.

If this is in response to a live request (ie. you're not pre-processing
static html files) then whatever script kicks off the transformation can
parse the request headers to get the url and pass it to the xsl as a
parameter.
