another newbie question.
Indeed - it last came up about a week ago.
Is there an easy way to count
the number of commas in a string? Like this:
<ITEM cols="col1,col2,col3,col4"/>
string-length(@cols) - string-length(translate(@cols, ',', ''))
The translate() removes the commas, the rest works out how much this
changes the total length.
