I' m sorry to dissapoint you but there is no special reason using the -ds
option. My colleague and I are just looking for a way to continue without
recieving errors.

As David Carlisle says, it probably means that you are using a Windows
filename somewhere where a URI is required.
I'm interested to see you're using the -ds option. Did you find that it
works faster? If so, I'm interested in the figures.

Subject: [xsl] saxon
Dear All,
just one question concerning saxon: What is the meaning of
this error? To which protocol does saxon refer to?
Thanks in advance.

Elke
