So you can do Xml + XSLT in jQuery?
I agree, the project may not be active, as in no new development, but if
the libraries are solid and offer a convenient cross-browser wrapper to
XML+XSLT, then who cares.

IIRC from having once used Sarissa, it was superseded by jquery some
years ago. At 2 1/2 years since the last update, I wouldn't call it an
active project for current browsers...
