Would someone tell me if the o= tag has any effect in the real world?
This appears in some of the DKIM draft specifications (i.e. section 5 of
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-allman-dkim-ssp-00#section-5) but not
in the finished RFC. Apparently nobody told port25.com
(http://www.port25.com/support/domainkeysdkim-wizard/), which has been
generating DKIM keys with o=~ in the policy record until....today. I am
familiar with draft specs that become solidified too soon, so perhaps
some email providers do look at o= ??
Thanks for any insights,
Todd
