I do so like doing that; I usually only get to make the third answer when
people say "Do you like tea or coffee?" but you get long suffering looks
the second time. :-)
Okay, I'll explain. It all depends on what you want, fetchmail will do
both; even though the protocols it uses (IMAP, POP, etc etc) are MUA
protocols it will pass on messages to an SMTP service without modification
just as a normal MTA.
