Debian Stable does NOT have an SSL-enabled fetchmail. It has an old and
outdated version of fetchmail (5.3.3), patched to fix security holes.

It's the latest .deb package from Debian's stable archive,
automatically installed with ``apt-get update'' and ``apt-get upgrade''.

This is fetchmail release 5.3.3+NTLM+SDPS+NLS
See, no SSL. Unless you rebuilt it with SSL (in which case that's a bug),
that is.
