[fetchmail]fetchmail: name server failure

Hi,

on one of my Linux/fetchmail installations I keep getting the following
message in
my protocol file while retrieving emails from our IPS:
fetchmail: nameserver failure while looking for `friendfactor.com' during
pool of smtpt.netway.at

Is this just a normal function of fetchmail, i.e. does fetchmail check if
the domain of the sender address
is reachable, i.e. is this an antispam function of fetchmail?
