Hi all;
My mail just got dragged, kicking and screaming, to an Exchange server :(
So of course I started up fetchmail and it's working great. My desktop
is a Debian GNU/Linux "Woody" box, and I have the Debian build of
fetchmail 5.8.3 installed:
# fetchmail -V
This is fetchmail release 5.8.3+NTLM+SDPS+NLS
Linux lemming 2.4.2-2 #1 Fri Jul 6 20:31:17 EDT 2001 i686 unknown
Here is my ~/.fetchmailrc:
set postmaster "psmith"
set bouncemail
set properties ""
set syslog
set daemon 10
poll <myserver> with proto IMAP auth ntlm
user "pausmith@<mydomain>" there is psmith here
fetchall
mda "/usr/bin/procmail -Y -d %T"
Now there is just one minor problem: every time that fetchmail polls the
server, I get this message in my syslog:
Sep 7 14:41:18 lemming fetchmail[3266]: Required OTP capability not compiled
into fetchmail
Well, it's unquestionably true that OTP capability is not compiled into
my fetchmail, but why does it have to tell me this every 10 seconds?
I added the "auth ntlm" setting in the hopes that fetchmail would not
even bother with OTP if I specified a particular authentication, but it
didn't help.
My syslog is filling up with these messages at the rate of one every 10
seconds... is there any way to avoid it or do I just have to build my
own local copy of fetchmail with OTP enabled?
Thanks!
