[fetchmail]fetchmail: SMTP error: 250 2.0.0 Reset state - please help!

hi folks,

i'm having a problem with fetchmail...

today it seems to be returning the message

"fetchmail: SMTP error: 250 2.0.0 Reset state"

and not flushing any mails from the server..

this has been running fine for 2 months... and for no reason today it's just
died..

has anyone got any ideas?
