Re: [fetchmail]Envelope "Received" not parsing correctly

2002-01-16 15:23:23
Hi All,

I've tried searching every web FAQ for a solution to this, now I've got to
try the mailinglist, any help much appreciated.

The main problem appears to be that fetchmail recognises the line:

"by mangalore.zipworld.com.au" and assumes this is the email address, it
isn't so fetchmail reports "no match". Yet the required address field is on
the next line "for <md(_at_)evosystems(_dot_)com>"

Can I force fetchmail to parse the entire "Received:" header for the line
beginning "for" ?

-----------------------------------

I want fetchmail to recognise the md(_at_)evosystems(_dot_)com address as the
correct
alias, instead it grabs the mangalore part.

This is the output from fetchmail -v -v ...

-----------------
Received: from brandenburg ([210.11.88.22])
        by mangalore.zipworld.com.au (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id QAA25512
        for <md(_at_)evosystems(_dot_)com>; Mon, 14 Jan 2002 16:08:49 +1100
fetchmail: line rejected, mangalore.zipworld.com.au is not an alias of the
mailserver

------------------

My .fetchmailrc looks like ...

---------------------
poll pop.i**s.com.au
        protocol pop3
        user *** with pass ***
                to
                envelope Received
                '<md(_at_)evosystems(_dot_)com>'='md(_at_)brandenburg'
        here
