Re: [fetchmail]user not known, SOLVED

Further digging into esr's pages made me do it!
Solved after changing .fetchmailrc to:

poll mail.zeelandnet.nl
localdomains laspartners.nl
user "xxx" pass "xxx" to user * here

Now automatic retrieval (cronjob)..

Hi all, my first post to this list...

I try to run fetchmail to retrieve mail from a multidrop-box for 1 domain at my ISP, forwarding it to a running postfix on the local server.
Have problems with fetchmail recognizing local users.
Run fetchmail as root.
.fetchmailrc is simple for now, first get it working:

poll mail.zeelandnet.nl user "xxx" pass "xxx" to user gert ldb chantal here

When i run fetchmail -V fetchmail says it recogizes 4 (FOUR) local users, while I only gave 3 names. That is already strange for me. The moment i fetch, all amil is dropped in the local root mailbox (postmaster). I ran fetchmail -v -v to see what was happening, and it gave me (a.o) next lines:

About to rewrite To: chantal(_at_)laspartners(_dot_)nl
Rewritten version is To: chantal(_at_)laspartners(_dot_)nl

About to rewrite From: Leen de Braal <ldb(_at_)braha(_dot_)nl>
Rewritten version is From: Leen de Braal <ldb(_at_)braha(_dot_)nl>

fetchmail: no local matches, forwarding to postmaster
fetchmail: SMTP< 220 mail.laspartners.nl ESMTP Postfix on SuSE Linux 7.2 (i386)
fetchmail: SMTP> EHLO localhost
fetchmail: SMTP< 250-mail.laspartners.nl

So here, in contrary to fetchmail -V, fetchmail says that there are no local matches.
What could be wrong??

TIA
Leen de Braal
