From: Henri van Riel <fetchmail(_at_)vanriel(_dot_)xs4all(_dot_)nl>
I'm kinda new to fetchmail and I was wondering if someone could
answer two of my questions:
Say I have 10 different (busy) pop3 boxes to check. Is there a way
to check them simultaniously instead of one after the other?
Yup, run 10 copies of fetchmail.
Is it possible to have fetchmail delete every succesfully retreived
and forwarded email immediately? I believe it now only deletes all
retreived mail after the last one was retrieved succesfully.
Not sure how this would speed things up.
It's taking a long time for me to check all these pop accounts and I
would like to speed things up a bit.
How long is "a long time"? A minute, 2 minutes? That's really not all that
long. Admittedly if you're at 5 minutes then it's getting long, but there's
little you can do except stagger the connections (ie use the interval
setting).
Please don't CC me on anything sent to mailing lists or send
me email directly unless it's a privacy issue, thanks.
