[fetchmail] multiple checks at once

I never heard of an answer to the question, so thought I'd ask again.

Is it possible to have fetchmail check a number of users 
simultaneously, as oposed to checking one at a time?

I'm looking for a way to cut down the time it takes to cycle through.
So instead of checking userA, then userB, then userC, it would check 
userA,B,&C all at the same time.

Is this possible?
