Hello,
A friend of mine is using fetchmail together with a CommuniGate mailserver.
Usually everything works fine, but mailing-list messages don't come through,
neither do messages sent from Outlook Express going to different receipents.
This is what happens:

X-Fetchmail-Warning: recipient address projete(_at_)linusetviviane(_dot_)ch

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
while at megaphone.ch the receipent is still ok, it gets mangled at
linux1-box. Also the X-Fetchmail-Warning is weird. Why does he thing that the
mailing-list is the receipent? Because of the 'To:'-field?
The configuration for the .fetchmailrc is:
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
defaults
proto pop3
#port 25
smtphost linux1
# fetchmailrc - B.Delacretaz 6.9.2000
# fetchmail doit etre execute a intervalles reguliers
# pour lire le mail du serveur POP3 du provider
# options globales
set syslog
#set postmaster fetchmail-admin
set postmaster root
# lecture POP3 serveur swissonline
# "keep" laisse le mail sur le serveur
# lecture POP3 serveur megaphone
# TODO changer en poll www.ligue.ch quand DNS ok
poll 212.74.179.246
proto apop
interface eth0/192.168.0.3/255.255.255.0
localdomains ligue.ch
user "postmaster(_at_)ligue(_dot_)ch"
pass "----------"
is *
fetchall
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
as the proto, we tried 'pop3' and 'imap', too, both without success. Is
anybody running fetchmail with communigate with success? I see it in the
regression-list (this is where I got the idea of 'apop'), so I think it
should be obvious, no?
If anybody has a clue, I would be glad to hear it. And if it's a RTFM, I'd say
WTFM, because I searched for it, really ;-)
thanx,
ineiti
