Hi
I have two systems running RH 6.2 and 8.0 and would like to upgrade to the
latest version of fetchmail on both systems.
- One has RPM 3 and the other RPM 4.
- Both don't have bison and flex, which were apparently needed to build the
binary rpm...
Can I build the binary rpm on a different RH 6.2 with bison and flex
installed like this:
rpm --rebuild http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/fetchmail/fetchmail-6.1.0-1.src.rpm
and use it on the first two system?
Would I be screwing things us if I did so?
