Is it possible to pick up email from a pop server and inside of delivering
it to a mail file or mail store remail it through an internal SMTP server?
If by "inside" you mean "as well as" then take a look at the aliases options
in your SMTP. If you meant "instead of" then simply specify the smtphost
setting in fetchmail...
