[fetchmail]Problem with mail I want to bouce, it won't!

Hallo...

I am using fetchmail 6.2.5 and sendmail v8.12.10 with Linux kernel v2.4.22
(Slackware v9.1 distribution).

I have set up sendmail's access database the "REJECT" certain sites and
sure enough, fetchmail flushes messages from the mail queue, reporting
error "550, 5.7.1 Acess denied" or other as it does so.  However, it does
not bounce those messages back to the sender although I don't have "no
bouncemail" set in the .fetchmailrc file.

Reading the man page section on anti-spam, it suggests that this is
correct.  But before I upgraded to Slackware 9.1, I was on Slackware 8.0
which had fetchmail 5.8.6 and various versions of sendmail up to 8.12.10,
and the REJECTed messages *did* get bounced using the same .fetchmailrc.

I am trying to work out if:-

        1. I have a mis-configuration of fetchmail, or
        2. a mis-configured sendmail, or
        3. fetchmail behaviour has been changed between 5.8.6 and 6.2.5

I would be grateful to hear if anyone on the list has encountered this.
