Summary of the situation:
Until last night I was fetching my mail from a multi-drop imap mbox from
Debian/Stable box with fetchmail 5.9.11 and a local postfix server.
Fetchmail was running at init via /etc/init.d/fetchmail and using
/etc/fetchmailrc as the config file. Everything worked fine. This was
running on my server and I used a separate machine nfs mounting /home and
/var/spool/mail from this server as my workstation.
I decided to move to just having a single machine instead of the above
setup and moved my site-wide fetchmailrc to my workstation. Installed
fetchmail and ran it and and things are not working properly. Any email
that is to a mailing list or is an invalid address gets put into
/var/spool/mail/fetchmail instead of going to the right user or just
being bounced. The workstation is running Debian/Unstable, fetchmail
version 6.2.5.
