Interesting, no SMTP listener, then...

Feb 28 22:34:05 localhost postfix/smtpd[530]: connect from
localhost[127.0.0.1]

...there is one.  You may have problems with your posftfix setup.

Feb 28 22:35:15 localhost fetchmail[394]: fetchmail:
getaddrinfo(mail.mac.com.pop3)

So, it works once, then stops.  Strange.

Well, I'd strongly recommend recompiling fetchmail.
