What would be a good way to simulate a pop3 server so I can do some
testing on specific mail messages?
I have a suite of messages that I want to throw at fetchmail to see how
my particular setup responds.
What steps would I need to take as I test my setup?
Currently when I retrieve the message from my pop3 server, it goes away
as it should. So I guess I could keep sending messages to the mailbox,
but that seemed wrong somehow.
Could I pipe a set of messages to fetchmail?
Additionally, I want to be able to test a new setup, without recking the
currently running old setup.
Hopefully I have babbled enough to get some suggestions on how I might
go about this.
