Hi
I am trying to fetchmails from a pop server which has
certificate chain as follows
when I run openssl s_client -connect 172.16.2.2:995
-showcerts
I get the following information
CONNECTED(00000003)
depth=0
/C=--/ST=SomeState/L=SomeCity/O=SomeOrganization/OU=SomeOrganizationalUnit/CN=localhost.lo
caldomain/emailAddress=root(_at_)localhost(_dot_)localdomain
verify error:num=18:self signed certificate
verify return:1
depth=0
/C=--/ST=SomeState/L=SomeCity/O=SomeOrganization/OU=SomeOrganizationalUnit/CN=localhost.lo
caldomain/emailAddress=root(_at_)localhost(_dot_)localdomain
verify return:1
And when I run fetchmail -v, the log shows
Server CommonName mismatch: localhost.localdomain !=
172.16.2.2
I read few documents on how to setup fetchmail with
ssl
but they are of not much use for me.
How to fetchmails with out using ssl ?
