I was primarily concerned in this list about the potential collision
of the ATTMAIL headers with RFC-XXXX, per Nathaniel's reply.

I agree that some of the other stuff is problematical, and worth some
worry by various people, but this other stuff is clearly outside the
scope of RFC-XXXX.

BTW, that From address with all the X.400isms in it is a working
return address, via ATTMAIL to X.400 and a Soft-Switch gateway to a
PROFS system.  The X.400 PRMD=Allied-Signal; ORG=Aerospace; OU=HQ.

Obviously, ATTMAIL is mapping "allied!" to PRMD=Allied-Signal, and
"@mhs.attmail.com" to C=US; ADMD=ATTMAIL.

There is no hope that another gateway to X.400 would be able to
decipher this.  This is not RFC987/1148/1148bis.
