[no subject]1993-01-13 22:22:32 as an addendum to henry's comments, the eraly version
of pike's paper is dist/plan9man/*utf* (or somesuch) at
research.att.com. the version he is giving at usenix is somewhat
different and will be available from teh same place just after usenix.
utf-2 (or FSS-UTF) is currently slated to appear as part
of an ISO standard as part of Posix, basically as the encoding
for tar, err cpio, err pax, strings.
