If there are related IETF mailing lists dealing specifically with
enriched text issues, could someone (i.e. Nathaniel, lest several
people do it) forward this message to those lists?
I don't think there are any such lists.
I also think that the "minimal conformance" section of the richtext &
text/enriched documents make it pretty clear that text in an
unimplemented formatting environment should NOT be thrown away... -- NB
