Hello,
noting that:
1) The document draft-alvestrand-language-tag-00.txt has met (as far
as I have seen) no opposition, and very little comment
2) The current HTTP document "draft-ietf-iiir-http-00.txt" document
refers to a "Language:" header which is a less flexible specification
(the WEB version,
http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/Protocols/HTTP/Object_Headers.html,
uses "content-language:" for the name)
3) RFC 1327 defines a "Language:" header that is not flexibly specified,
I see a need for the document draft-alvestrand-language-tag-00.txt to be
published as a Proposed Standard of the IETF.
Is there any opposition to this?
I have attempted to send this message to all people involved; sorry to
you who get it multiple times.
Followup is set to the ietf-822 list, because this list is relevant to the
subject, and discussion (if any) should be on a single list.
