TIFF 6.0 Class B MIME media type

Hi,

There is a MIME media type for TIFF, (image/tiff), but it is limitted to
Class F.

I am involved with a project that is planning to use MIME to transmitt
scanned documents that will be in TIFF 6.0 Class B, using CCITT G4 compression.

Does anyone know of any work being done on MIME type that could be used
for this, otherwise we'll need to invent a type of our own. In this case
we'd like to investigate enhancing the current image/tiff definition to
allow Class B etc...

any thoughts?....
