Just a taxonomy of mail would also be interesting ... many of the
interesting issues with preventing spam result from the many types of
e-mail messages: errors, first time contacts, forwarding, mail lists,
etc.

One possible (and imho very useful) definition of spam ...
Please keep in mind that attempts to create a definition of
spam are specifically excluded from the ASRG's area of interest.
Taxonomies of objectionable mail might be interesting, though.
