DKIM met on Wed morning, ~43 people signed the blue sheets.
The base specification is in the RFC editor's queue.
Main meeting goals were finishing up the SSP requirements
document (WGLC runs until the end of next week), progressing
the SSP protocol work and considering the overview document's
future.
On the SSP requirements we had a couple of issues to discuss
and took one to the list for a strawpoll. We want more WGLC
comments on this.
In San Diego we had 4 different SSP proposals. With the
agreement of the proponents of 3 of those we decided to
proceed based on draft-allman-ssp with a bunch of changes
that were discussed at the meeting. We hope for a first
draft-ietf-dkim-ssp early in April. The chairs hope to
get active involvement from some DNS people in this work.
There was a proposal to split the Overview document into
three parts (from the authors). While there were a couple
of concerns with that, the meeting was ok with going with
the authors' suggestion since they were concerned with
getting out text that'll help with deploying the base
specification sooner rather than later.
