Sure.
MS pretends to control spf2.0/pra to a certain degree, as
defined in draft-lyon-senderid-pra-01
I don't think you can conclude this. The patent claims haven't been
released. All that happened is that MS identified that it has patent
interests in the draft proposed by MS. That doesn't mean it doesn't have
patent interests in other drafts proposed by non-MS personnel.
Until the patent issues, and the patent claims are known, you can't say
just how broad the patent is.
