With Lutz's message, it sounds like he's implemented it. Has anyone else
implemented it? Does anyone want to argue why it should be there, or pick
up the argument on eliminating it?

I guess it all depends on what it is being used for. In an earlier reply
to one of my post I was informed that this was not being used so this is
the first I have heard that anyone was using it.
