Good job on draft-ietf-openpgp-formats-01.txt. I've spent the
weekend coding up a prototype reference implementation of the
basic formatting parts in order to parse and identify the
different packets of a PGP message. It's been sent to the
coderpunks mailing list, in case it's of any use to others.
It does a few things that are hard in some versions of PGP,
such as telling all the recipients of an encrypted message.

I ran across a few small things that should be addressed in
the next version of the draft.

1. In the CRC section 6.1 there should be a typedef for crc24.
2. In the CRC section 6.1 CRC_INIT should be CRC24_INIT in the body.
3. The example Armored Message in 6.6 has a typo in the plaintext:
   it's missing the word "be".
4. Section 5.11 "User ID" and section 4.3 "Name" refer to the same
kind of packet. One shoul be fixed.
5. In section 9.2, I'm still not wild about the ROT-N transform.
Humour is nice in general, but I prefer it in text rather than
specification. If a debugging mode is needed, perhaps it could
be defined with a "MUST NOT" be implemented in a shipping version.
6. Section 6.5 has a typo in the Radix-64 example. The last 6-bit
quantity in the first example correctly shows the binary value
as 111110, but incorrectly calls it 63 decimal. It should be 62
   and translate to '+'.
