Re: Inclusion of the issuer and serial number in authenticated informat

I agree that inclusion of issuer's serial
number must be there in the certificate. If
this is not so then we are working on a basic
assumption that all the issuer's are
absolutely trusted, and hence there is no
need to check repudiation from them. This
should not be the case and the issuing
authority too should be checked for
non-repudiation.
