Quite right. Further, I would object to trying to shoe-horn this into our
charter. The MIXER WG is a great example of why asking IETF people to work
on X.400-related specs is a Really Bad Idea. One might argue the same thing
about X.500 specs...
However, there seems to be interest in this. If someone creates such a
draft, IMC would be happy to create a mailing list for discussing it so
that it can be done well with lots of input from the appropriate
communities. I'm absolutely not volunteering to do such a draft, since I
take the "I" in IMC seriously, but am willing to run a mailing list for the
work.
