This document is the first draft of a profile for the incorporation
of Elliptic Curve (EC) public key algorithms in the Cryptographic
Message Syntax (CMS). The EC algorithms support the creation of
digital signatures and the distribution of keys to encrypt or authen-
ticate message content. The definition of the algorithm processing
is based on the ANSI X9.63 draft, developed by the ANSI X9F1
working group.
